The short version: we collect what we need to cut steel and ship it to you, and nothing else. No ad networks, no analytics trackers, no selling or renting your information. Ever.
What we collect
- If you join the list: your email address and the pit size you picked. That's the whole record.
- If you buy: your name, email, shipping and billing addresses, what you ordered, and your answers to checkout questions (like which designs you want). Payment happens on Stripe's secure checkout — your card number never touches our servers and we can't see it.
- If you email us: whatever you send, including artwork for custom orders.
- Our host keeps ordinary server logs (IP address, pages requested) for security, like every website you've ever visited.
What we don't do
- No advertising pixels, no analytics scripts, no social-media trackers on this site.
- No tracking cookies. The site stores exactly two things in your browser, and only if you use them: your cart and your early-access unlock. They're functional, they stay on your device, and we never see them.
- We don't sell, rent, or trade your information with anyone.
Who touches your data
Running a store takes a few services. Each gets only what its job requires:
- Stripe — payments, receipts, and fraud screening (their privacy policy)
- Supabase — stores the email list
- Hostinger — hosts and serves this site through its CDN
- Google Fonts — serves this site's typeface; like any font request, your browser contacts Google's server, which sees your IP address
That's the complete list. If it changes, this page changes.
We email you about your order because we have to. List emails are occasional — launches and news, not a drip campaign. Want off? Reply to any email or write team@packablepits.com and we delete your address.
How long we keep things
Order records stay as long as tax and accounting law says they must. List entries stay until you ask out. Custom-order artwork stays while it's useful for reorders unless you ask us to delete it.
Your rights
Email team@packablepits.com and a founder — not a form — will send you a copy of what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, subject to records the law makes us keep. Florida and other US state privacy laws may give you specific rights; whatever they are where you live, asking us directly is how you use them here.
Kids
We sell fire products. The site isn't directed at children and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If a kid slipped onto the list, tell us and it's gone.
Changes
If our practices change, this page changes first, and the date at the top moves. Questions: team@packablepits.com.
